Sagar Chitrakar
Architect
Sagar Chitrakar is a Nepalese architect based in Kathmandu.
After completing a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Pulchowk Campus in 2011, he has worked for social, humanitarian, and commercial development projects in Nepal with firms such as Hariyo Chowk – Sattya, Habitat for Humanity Nepal, and Mathema & Partners. Following the devastating April 2015 earthquake, Sagar joined ABARI as a senior architect and worked in several reconstruction projects across Nepal.
In search of new challenges, in 2016, Sagar took a one-way flight to Ubud to work for Alexis Dornier. During his 3.5 years with the company, he had the opportunity to work with vernacular typologies and heritage while leading design projects in Indonesia, Singapore, Dubai, and Germany.
With a view to focusing on design explorations using local materials and craftsmanship in Nepal, in 2019, Sagar established STUDIO NEBA – an architecture and design studio, which strives to create diversity, forms, and structures while honoring the local landscape and heritage. ⠀⠀

Samir Basi
Architect
Samir Basi joined the studio in 2020 and has been a part of numerous projects throughout the year. He has played a role of a team leader and has proven to be an integral part of the company.
Somehow he manages to travel everyday, back and forth for hours from Bhaktapur to other side of the town, winding through the traffic and dusts, but still manages to bring the enthusiasm and humor within the team.
He is also an avid traveler and has been to the remotest of the mountains.
Sneha Bhandari
Architect
Sneha Bhandari is a graduate from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus, where she pursued her studies with great enthusiasm.
Her passion for collaboration and working with like-minded individuals towards a common goal makes her a valuable asset to the organization. And she believes that teamwork and synergy are key drivers for achieving success.
Raghav Maharjan
Architect
Raghav Maharjan, a graduate of Kathmandu Engineering College, has a diverse range of interests including art, painting, music production, and indoor pursuits.
He finds fulfillment in solitary activities, often dedicating his time to learning new skills and expanding his knowledge.
Umang Kayastha
Architect
Umang Kayastha, a graduate of IOE, Thapathali Campus, actively participated in student organizations and contributed to magazine publications during his academic tenure.
His interests lie prominently in architecture and music. Also, an ardent explorer who finds joy in traveling and capturing glimpses of beauty.
Harry and Lia
Harry is shy and cautious about his surroundings, while Lia is cheerful, fearful, and always hungry for food.
